How much is this work worth?
« on: October 01, 2007, 02:37:16 pm »
This work is all top class commercial. All but one job have been established for 7 years.

Job A     £500 every 2 months (14 hours work, 2 men, one day)
Job B     £450 every 2 months (9 hours work, 2 men, one morning)

Job C     £175 every month (5 hours work, 1 man, one morning)
Job Ca   £45 every 2 months (1.5 hours, 1 man)
Job Cb   £55 every 4 months (2 hours, 1 man)

Job D     £280 every 3 months (8 hours, 1 man, 1 day)
Job Da   £65 every month (25 mins per week for one man)

Job E     £270 every 3 months, but likely to go more frequently soon. (7 hours, 1 man, 1 day)

Job F     £165 every 2 months (5 hours, 1 man, 1 saturday morning)

Job G     £280 twice a year (7 hours, 1 man, 1 day)

So the total average per month as it stands is £1063 per month, working an average of 28 hours per month.

The total of all jobs done once would be £2285. The amount of hours to do all jobs would be 61, meaning an average hourly rate of £37.

Water fed pole is used.

Any thoughts as to how you would value it if it was your work to sell?

No. All jobs are really good and some are fantastic.

That's why its hard to value it.

Especially since job a and B used to be monthly and could quite possibly go back to being monthly in the future.

Job E is presently considering going more frequently.

OK,

I'd be interested to know what its worth would be in the North and what its worth would be in the South.

How much did you spend on your ionics Pro 5 system?

What's worth more?

It's work like this that would make investing in your pure water system worthwhile.

Thanks for the laugh though.

The work is in the South.

At this point I don't want to say anymore as to where it is.

Its the kind of work that you could easily regret selling, so unless its worth me selling it I'll just be keeping it.

(I sub it out since I moved. That's why I'd consider selling it.)

You sound a bit more sensible NWH.

I think it would be a bit too far for you to travel.

But tell us what you would want for it if you were selling it...
