Just had a new customer text

Just had a new customer text to say not to clean today because it is raining.

Now what should I have done ?

I would have rang up the customer explaining with the technology of wfp it is quite feasible to still clean and please could they go ahead with the clean as they have not given sufficient notice for you to fill the time slot u have allowed for their clean

HOW CAN YOU QOUTE THIS, IF EVERYONE DID THAT YOU WOULDNT HAVE A BUSINESS ... i TELL PEEPS WHEN THEY SAY ITS RAINING WELL IT COULD BE DRY NOW RAIN LATER OR TOMORROW . IM HERE TO KEEP THE DIRT DOWN !!!!!!!!!

the rbs dont ring me up and say you dont have to pay your morgage today because its raining do they?

customers cant have it both ways get someone els who will let you down when you need them most like in cold weather or at christmass explain that you run a business and anyway the rain doesnt really make a difference to the clean if it does tell em to call you they never do

window cleaning is not compulsory !

anyone missing a clean for any reason , then waits till the following month .

hardly the end of the world if custie doesnt want them doing. we have a 1200 odd customer base and on average get 20-30 not todays a month for various reasons. just 1 of those things who am i to argue with them. Just turn up the following week and continue. hardly worth dropping them over is it.
