Title: Gymnastics matted flooring
Post by: Imogen2 on December 11, 2022, 12:49:19 pm
Hi, We have been asked to clean some gymnastics mats which are foam backed like the photo.
Anyone done these before? Any tips on product and method.
We have the air flex miniflex.
Thanks
Imogen

Hi we do 10 mats every 6 weeks for a school, pre spray with Prochem  Clensan, then just machine clean with wand in  normal way, leave them rolled out in hall to dry.

Thanks for your reply Martin, do you use hot water or cold for extraction? & no form of agitation?

I’m just a little nervous about the job as not done anything similar before.

Thanks appreciate your help!

Hot water  with Crystal Green powder in water, don't get them to wet as  foam backed, we leave them on sports hall floor and normally dry in an hour or two
