The Ideal Tile Floor Cleaning Machines
« on: September 03, 2012, 07:02:06 am »
Cleaning tile floors is notoriously hard, and even a few years back no tools or machinery were available that could able to remove the dirt effectively, mopping with chemicals was the only way. But now we have some impressive tools and tile floor cleaning equipment to make it convenient to clean deep grouts effectively. Tile floors have the propensity to attract more dirt than wall tiles so extra care needs to be taken. Maintaining a light colored tile can really be a nightmare and the grout gradually turns darker imparting an ugly look to the floor.

Tile floor cleaning equipment is the best when it comes to removing the contaminants from the surface especially the grout lines. After cleaning the floor using the equipment, the grout will surely become cleaner and will provide the tile a shiny appearance. It’s completely safe to use a tile floor cleaning equipment. The equipments can be conveniently used in home and poses no harm to children and pets.

Oxygen bleach is great for tile cleaning. It’s non toxic in nature and can be easily used on the surface that have coloured grout. The bleach is safe for fabrics and able to remove the dirt and grease from the grout lines. During the cleaning process the oxygen ions contained within the bleach break up the molecules of the dirt so that grease and grime can easily be rinsed away from the surface. The oxygen bleach is mixed with warm water and then the solution is scattered over the surface to be cleaned, and left for 30 minutes. The ions work to loosen the dirt from the surface and then scrubbers are used to remove them completely.

Make sure the tile floor cleaning equipment such as the scrubber is fitted with the right brushes to clean the tiles. Horizontal brushes fitted to the scrubber are just not enough to clean floor effectively. Vertically driven scrubber brushes can enhance the efficiency of the equipment and get right into the joints of the tile to remove the dirt.

What an absolutely pointless article!!!

"Oxygen Bleach is Great for tile cleaning"!  WHY???

Please be aware that when you offer advice on a forum it needs to be accurate!  There are many members who read these forums and could use the advice.  Therefore please make sure that you include all caveats in any advice offered.  No bleach that I am aware of is a cleaner.
I could get very technical and bore you rigid with the reasons and exactly what bleach does but instead I have just posted a very simplified explanation below:

For many household cleaning jobs, bleach just isn't the right cleaning solution. It has heavy fumes that can make you sick. Contact with bleach on your skin is irritating and can be very harmful. Mixing it with many other cleaners can give you toxic results. Bleach can also damage surfaces and remove color.

Bottom Line:

Bleach is a good disinfectant and stain remover but not a great general cleanser.

Totally agree Kevin that article is some load of crap, of course tile floors are going to attract more soil than wall tiles.
