Title: Removing Red Wine Stains on Carpet

Any tips on how to remove red wine stains?

Somebody had suggest baking soda paste? :-\

I see your website has a stock picture of a Red Wine Stain, I'd take that down :-)

Try a bisulphate based product. I always have some CHEMSPEC spray and go on my van.  Works a treat.  CHEMSPEC are now part of Legend Brands, based in Milton Keynes

You can say that again! If I knew how big of a headache a photo could be before it became one.....

Sodium Metabislphite products are great on red wine Craftex Shift is another one. However before using any stain reducers you may should try a fresh water rinse to get out anything the customer has already tried then try some acid at 8:1. other products should really be used as a last resort.

1. Salt
2. Club Soda
3. Dishwashing Liquid & Hydrogen Peroxide
4. Bicarb Soda & Vinegar
5. Hot Water Through The Fabric
