How can you order something like work boots without seeing how well theyre made AND not being able to try them on.

You must be nuts.
I bought my van off ebay. Same principal :o

get to your local camping walking shop and buy some Gortex walking boots...these will be totally waterproof a decent pair will be from around 80.00 but will last 4/5 winters! ;)

Yes I viewed van then drove 100 miles to Yorkshire to pick it up. Also viewed shoes but they will be posted to me. Its called internet shopping. Just like when I paid over £400 for a slx pole last month. Never tested it or tried before I parted with my cash.
Theres always one aint there!!

field and trek had a job lot of karrimor hiking boots in leather with the event (like goretex) liner for 30 quid.

thought at the time they would be good for work.

just looking back at at the pic again - you have to be joking about buying these for work boots!!!!!!

a thin layer of suede for work! i dont think so!!

those boots are what you would see oasis or kasabian wear!! mod style boots.

they would be wrecked within a week!
