Well you are if your abroad - I’d be quite p!seed investing several grand and ongoing fees to only get the franchiser only accessible by phone or email

I'm not sure why it matters. It's only window cleaning it would be worrying if you had franchisees that couldn't be self sufficient and need their hand holding. What is it that would need you in person ?

If the shoe was on the other foot you’d think the ‘boss’ was taking the piss.

It’s less than a hundred round here for a days hire. What muppets hire for £300 a day?

Didn’t Green pro do this. Lived in Thailand and ran his business remotely?
Not sure how he got on but to me he always came across as a bit of a w anker
I think Vin is the example, he seems to support his franchises and runs a very successful model. Although I would imagine he would tip his hat to Ian Lancaster.

He’s in the  Philippines

I have a few 70mm drainpipes connected to the side of wire baskets fitted. If anyone wants to have a look I will post a photo. Both baskets and 70mm pipe is cheap as chips.

Out of interest how much do you charge to hire it?

I charge £300 minimum, deliver and build it. Go and clean some windows and come back and remove it. Don't leave it overnight or it will disappear. Sometimes if its a quick job then I will help them and they will help me dismantle it.

I bought a narrow 2.5m clima one years ago. I would probably buy a narrow 1.8m one if I had to now. It has paid for itself as I rent it out to a gas fitter when he needs it. The good thing about a scaffold is its always an asset which can be sold in the future. I would advise you to look on Ebay because there is always towers forsale. As long as you have a safe place to store it. I don't scrape roofs no more and only spray them from a ladder. Going on a Pasma course is well worth undertaking because you will lean plenty from it, being safe and staying safe.
