help required trolley system
« on: March 11, 2010, 04:51:22 pm »
Hello all
i have a xline trolley which i love and think is excellent bit of kit.
I just bought myself a fiat doblo and im going to get a 210 or 250 litre water tank for in the van.
WHat i would like to know is how i convert trolley into van system and then change it back to trolley instantly.
I heard you can get fittings to do this i just wondered how to do it and what i would need?
the van i bought was a window cleaning van in a previous life and had van ports in the side but was welded over so would be looking to try and get plate off and then have van ports again so i can lock van up when using it.
 \can anyone help me please?
cheers all.

It aint hard mate, just take a look. I dont know what the pipes look like. I would gather its normal garden size hose, just cut it, fit hozelock to each end and get a joining peice then you could easily pop off one to the other.

Depends what your round is like. I got 100 metres for commercial and domestic, from purefreedom.co.uk

That should do it. ;)

60m is about right but 100m is ideal for pretty much anything.

6mm fits nicer onto a reel as its thinner. I used 8 and didnt like it as much as 6
