I've not done any sealing before, it's not something I'm really keen on pushing for most surfaces ( i know opinion is divided on that here), however a friend has a fairly large imprinted concrete driveway that he has cleaned and sealed every other year by someone else. He's asked me to see if I could do it for him at reduced cost to what he normally pays at a mate's rate which I'm happy to do as he'll then have it done every year by me instead.
My question is, which PIC sealer would you guys recommend for a shiny finish (i've done a search but a lot of the posts are quite old)? Also, the drive is quite steeply sloped so in wet conditions it can get really slippy. Is there a granule that I can add to the sealer to create a little more grip without ruining the look of the surface?
Any recommendations welcomed, thanks!

Thanks I saw that on the PICS website, have you had experience of it? Do you use PICseal, is it good?

yes, when we used to seal we used PICS, along with Rhino grip, works well, depending on the condition of the PICS simply add to seal and apply via roller to final coat.

Thanks. PIC is in good condition, cleaned and sealed every other year so this should be perfect. Thanks for the recommendation

Cheers Chris, does the colour of the sand disappear into the sealant. Just concerned as it's a very dark surface it might show, a bit like I've seen where people haven't swept blocks properly after sanding before sealing

It will show if you use too much....it only needs a very small amount to give grip. We have one customer who has imprinted steps !!! We go heavy on that because everybody fell in the past, now they are fine.

Ok thanks. This drive slopes quite steeply to the road and I've slipped on it several times in the past. Steps must be lethal!
Rhino grip from PICs is only about £12 for enough to mix into 25 litres and they state it's invisible so I will probably follow their advice, save me cocking up the mix and it showing on this dark colour. Cheers though mate :-*
