Title: Mascara & Blue Bols
Post by: Richard Edwards on January 07, 2005, 10:05:53 am
Hello everyone & Happy New Year

I have a cream bedroom carpet to clean, it is polyprop with a felt backing.

The carpet has a mascara stain and a large light blue coloured stain, believed to be Blue Bols & lemonade.

The customer states they have not tried to clean mascara stain, but attempted to clean blue stain.

Any advice on how to takle stains would be appreciated.

Cheers  :)

Polyprop? Nylon? Wool?

Waterproof Mascara?

These carpets are typically Polyprop in which case they are highly resistant to water based stains, so shouldn't be a problem, but more info as above is required,

Safe and happy cleaning :)

Eco spotter will do the business on the mascara, applied via a terry towel.
Number 3 and a thorough extraction should on polyprop remove the drink stain.
