I never bother with "agitation" , just clean the carpet. Works fine for me. ;)

I go to the local horse sandlers and buy horse grooming brushes there’s a million different varieties, although at the moment i’m Using my long handled 10inch pile brush.

Floormacs are great for stairs.....in fact usually do bedrooms with it as well now rather than lugging rotary upstairs.

i nearly always use a TM3 , i dont bother taking the handle off . Sometimes use my Milwaukee aangle drill brush .   Hand brush and elbow does just as good a job ... but my elbows are precious .
