Those basic prices that float around the £100 mark probably wont have glass being worked on nor damage to flat roof.

Cracked a pane of glass myself yesterday, first one in 14 years.

It won't be expensive to sort out yourself!  I believe it's quite simple, even if it's a double glazed sealed glass unit. 

Probably cheaper than claiming on your insurance since they'll hike next years premium.

I carry PL insurance, but I have a few jobs that require it and ask me yearly for a copy of it.

I spoke to the estate manager about it, the owners had just gone out, he said 'Are you sure that was you, I know we've got one pane cracked somewhere, it might have been that one' ;0)


Yea right thinks I, there's just about a hundred windows on that place, with at least 12 panes on each one. Nice guy that estate bod ;0)))

Is it me, or are some or all of those bottom windows fake ones?  The ones they put there to look like windows but only did so to avoid some sort of tax?

Get them on old Georgian buildings.
