Just been approached for a big pressure washing job on the exterior of a country mansion, they've already been quoted £15K for the job and are wondering if we can do it any cheaper.

The quote they have had is for hot pressure washing the exterior to kill off any future algae growth in the stone?

We've got a 4000psi Honda GX390 pressure wash (cold) how do I convert it to hot?  Do I just need to put a hotbox in line?

Yes

With the small genny as power for the hotbox.

It might be an idea to spray something like an algae inhibitor (Tensid) on afterwards to offer a little more!

Most hot boxes only up to 200 bar @ 15 or 21 ltrs/min and over this pressure are expensive. You can either knock the revs back a bit or change to a larger nozzle and bach the unloader off. It has been well established that you do need a small generator to power the hot box as per M ;D

Genny is no problem as we have a massive 6KVA one that is more than man enough for just about any job.

Just quoted him £12K including the hire of a cherry picker for a week, waiting for him to get back to me.

By the way I got referred this job through the BNI.  Well worth joining just for this.
