But it's a false indicator anyway. ???

There's not more people on over £800 a week than any other. ::)

People exaggerate. We've done this before and a load of crap gets spouted about making £2000 a week.

It's pointless as an accurate assessment.

Sorry Squeaky i don't agree if you tell yourself i'm going to earn £200 per week that person will but what they have done is put a ceiling on their ambition/earning level . Logisticly it is possible to turnover £2000 per week with staff obviously.

Running a  window cleaning business is no different to running any other kind of business.

I said 1500 - 2000, I'm actually at the 2K level and sometimes go over but probably more often go under.  Mind this is only on 2 short days a week, I'm hoping to up it soon by a bit and still stick to the 2 days thanks to wfp.

I can believe that you can earn over 3500K a month if working full time, and I don't see the point of exaggerating on a site like this all though I know people probably do.  The site is about sharing information not tall stories.

Simon.

I didn't say that. ::)

What I said was that it's bullocks that more people are on over £750p/w than any other figure.

A lot of people lied.
It happened last time.

Thats what my thinkin is anyway. You are along time dead. Dont live to work!!! I know wcs that earn £700+ a week do i I dont need to!! ;D Why the hell lie about your earnings if you wanna kill yourself get on with it.

my answer is gaged on the fact of having employees & i feel a lot of small business,s would have at least one, so go through top bracket.

It should be aimed at sole traders without employees & then it would be a more clear reading & hopefully true answers to assist others & realy show the divide for areas

??? Tatman, you don't need to kill yourself to earn good money. I earn £700 plus per week on my own. I work :

Mon 6-30 am  - 4pm
Tues 9am - 4pm
Wed 9am -4pm
Thurs 9am - 4pm
Fri 9 am - 4pm

37 1/2 hrs per week and that's including my travelling.

PLUS I don't go collecting. In fact I will post my forecast from George,( this is based on the work I currently do , and is not dreamt up figures) so everyone can see i'm not bullsh*ting. I have nothing to hide from anyone  I.R. included.I'm not bragging myself up - just showing the flip side of the coin. If your organized, your prices are good, your service is good and you are motivated, you can achieve what earnings you want.

Yes.  I would probably have an annual turnover about the same as Jon taking it pro rata.  I work about 4 weeks in 6 and turn over about two thirds of what he does if my  as sumptions and calculations are about right.  Fill those two weeks in and I reckon I would be on about the same money - perhaps a shade more if I drop some more of the lower paying work and replace it.  I've nothing to hide either as I believe in playing it straight.  Prefer to sleep at night.
I don't work such regular hours as Jon though.  I often work a Saturday and take time off in the week.  Some jobs are easier to access at the weekends.  I certainly don't work excessive hours.  I may do on odd days to get finished in a particular area but I do some short days as well.
