Well he's a bit of an anachronism and been tolerated in an 'eccentric Uncle' kind of way from before my time as a mod. Some have viewed him lightheartedly in a 'what harm is he doing?' manner.

But  he seems to have become not just an embarrassing irritant but an intransigent one.

So if his next post after the ban is up is a spam one or similar then it will be a permanent ban.

There are some excellent Youtube videos on window cleaning, that are informative, up-to-date, unbiased and from people who have 'Earned the Right' to offer their advice.

If you are newbie, I would stick with those.

I personally don't like anyone who offers advice on something (potentially serious) they have absolutely no knowledge of, i.e RSI.

I know people who make very good money from Youtube and it's only fair that if the op is trying to  'Advertise' again, where others have to pay, then he should be banned for a short while.

If you have an issue to report then use the report to mods button.

Multiple reports on spamming by HMan have been received - and not just this time; they proved valid and the issue was dealt with.

If you have an issue with specific bullying or abusive behaviour please report it. When someone reports such it is looked into carefully.
