i use a 6, 10, 12 and 14 inch set of squeegies!!!! i have an 18" squeegie but i never use it - it feels like im hung like a donkey if i use it ha ha ha

seriously i use the 10 and 14 inches the most and keep the 12 " channel in the car in case i need to swich during the day (ie the rubber goes on me) and the 6" is very usful i use this for front doors and the weird shape conservatories.

LONG LIVE TRAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  ;D

lol

however a 36" strip can be split into the 10, 12 and 14" in one!!!

i tend to do this and i use one strip of 36" to do 6 x 6" strips for the baby channel!

I only ever use a 10" for large windows and i've cut one down to make about a 4" for the awkward top and side openers.

Just bought a load of rubbers from soapnational. On special at the moment. 10 pack of 48" for £15.00. P&P and Vat on top comes to £20.57.

I use a 18" brass, I think it's an unger, had it about 17yrs, and a 22" alu squeegy which I've been using for the last 4-5 months, it's great for shop windows, really has speeded me up. I've always used the 18" and found it a really good all rounder, I also use a 18 applicator.

I've only got a ten-incher.  :'(

It's more work on large panes, but it fits in tight places. ;D

I can't be bothered to carry a few around, lazy git that I am.

ps. Nice topic Brett! ;)

I have quite a few squeegies.

10"
about 4 or 5 12"
16"
and a couple of 18"

I used to use a 16" squeegie on everything and one day i ran out of rubbers for this.
So started using my 12" squeegie and just carried on using it.
Now i feel more comfortable with a 12" squeegie that i use it on everything big or small.
I think the 10" is a waste of time and if i need that i would just scrim the job much quicker on small piece's

A 4" and a 14" with handles  and   10" & 16" blades in the spare Boab slot, change blades about as needed. I mainly use Alu channel. Unger ss handle with the rubber bit cut off. Also 3 others that have been custom cut and filed, tailored to fit  fit special jobs. Unger microfleece scrubber (lasts ages) in  monsoon t bar. Bought a 36" Ninja squeegy but its unused, For a bit, found it better if I fitted 2 handles to it. Now just use the 16" on shops and do a Terry turbo 2 hand scrub and squeegee at the same time.

I use an 18" unger twist grip.

I cant see the pont in useing a smaller one.

It would be like cutting down my wfp brush to 6" just so it could take longer to clean a window.
