due to a new situation looks like i may have to start out with a car,im only using a back pack and will need to carry around 100-150 litres ,budget under a 1000 any ideas for a cheap window cleaning wagon?i would like to stick with a car for insurance purposes?
what do some of you use?

Could I ask why you cant get a van for under 1000 ? that is possible, you can also convert standard insurance and get it into commercial.

go to a car auction and ask them when comercial vehicles are on,   look around on net  put car auctions in task bar,   look for nearest your area.        go take a look @ prices going for,   cheaper than dealers.

i have an estate,  just got backpack  to get used to wfp cleaning   and  get my customers used to it,    if it takes off i will start looking for a decent van and set up,   i will put a catflap fitted for hose,  i wouldnt like to leave my doors open,

my insurance means i have to take out a new policy ,and will lose the option of driving other cars etc ,so will be easier for me to use a car at least to build up some regular work,but i just checked and theres a commercial light auction tommorow night you think there worth going to?

What a stupid reply. If a car is ad much as you can stretch to then a trolley with 8 barrels is a good enough place to start. I started with a vauxhall cav, a PF trolley and 8 x 25 litre barrels.

What a stupid reply. If a car is ad much as you can stretch to then a trolley with 8 barrels is a good enough place to start. I started with a vauxhall cav, a PF trolley and 8 x 25 litre barrels.

I picked up an Escort van for £700. Saw me through my first year.

I had to use wifes clio the one day when van was having brakes done  had me backpack in there and 5 - 6 barrels, still earnt a good amount.

Guys its just a means of carrying water about...and getting water to the windows, you really do get carried away with "having to have a van"

I have a van cause i wanted one and it suited. Im in a position to get one so did so. Not everyone can or wants to get a van.

To be honest mate any car would work but most pratical would be some sort of estate, why dont you look for old faithful mondeo estate car?
