Patio and Drive pressure washing
« on: April 26, 2020, 03:29:49 pm »
Hi Guys we are looking to add this service to our already successful domestic and cleaning business, we do end of tenancy cleans, end of build , Capet cleaning etc and have a large domestic cleaning side to the business that I would like to  as pressure washing  as an additional service.
I have been to spinaklean a couple or years ago  when we were thinking of doing it but the timing wasn’t right so any advice on what type of machine for predominantly domestic houses , think spinakleas also recommend pricing at £2.50 p/sm ?
ANy other useful tips appreciated
Thanks in advance.

£2.50 a sq meter is to jet only!!
And we get more than that tbh
So approx 100 sqm £250 to jet
Re sand if block £125....usually charge 50%
Of jet price to re sand(using ur noodle on huge jobs!!!!)
Jet an soft wash of flags approx same
Knowing ur client base,local area,etc a must
I’m normally runnin 1-2 units flat out six days a week feb - sep..then tick along in other months
Any info u need ask

I'm interested to know why you think FSC's are a waste of time.

What set up have you got that you don't see any gain to their use?

My commercial experience is completely different but there would be no reason to use any and all parts of my gear on residential works.

Nice set up here that fits the requirements -

There slow , cumbersome and round!!! So corners need to be done anyway!!im fast an very accurate with my suttner turbo noz..21 ltr a min is fast but tiring, I use my 15 ltr for tarmac ,bonded resign etc ...both units run same leads an lances but different t.nozel sizes...I’ve been going 7years an always up the wall..I did use fsc to start but why mess about undoing Leeds etc etc ,,more room in van ,I do have one “just in case” in my garage
Unused for 4 years!!! I do loads of commercial and domestic and I’ve never ever been asked why I dont use one
Also a turbo noz cleans first sweep deffo second...fsc don’t
Then there’s cost..bearings a pain ,jet arms rust, skirt needs replacing
Rant over

They're slow? - Mine isn't.

If your FSC is set up with a QR bayonet connection there is no need to switch your machine off or 'undoing Leeds' - as you put it. Leeds won't be very happy with you undoing the whole city.

21LPM is tiring?

I'm not going to argue on someone else's post but none of your reasons for using one are my experience.

Never had a skirt wear out, bearings - they need greasing (never done mine), arms rusting - really?

You rant away fella.

I don’t  know what type of machine you have we have a brigs and Stratton  V twin 21 ltr 250 bar and I have never had to go over the same bit twice with a fsc.  yes you have to do the edges with a lance but it’s still much faster with fsc and far less mess , I hate using a turbo for that reason alone , they do have there place but for normal use on drives no way .

You have clearly never even seen let alone used a Falch FSC with Vacuum Take off.?

Have a look at this then:  Because this bad boy does edges and corners ;D
