can we do this?

what do yous think of a rating system for equipment, products etc.  we could each give a product a rating out of ten.  this would be useful to all of us especially newbies in deciding what to use.  just an idea let me know what yous think and could mike boxall tell us if this is possible

cheers shaun

Shaun, theres so much kit out there, that it would take forever. also one mans 10 is another's 2. circumstances differ, as do working practises. Nice idea, but not practicable.

I agree with the others Shaun, but probably for a different reason. Whether the performance of our equipment is average or exceptional, we, the technicians, make that piece of kit WORK FOR US. As John stated recently, the technician is the most adjustable and and flexible part of the cleaning equation.

Where your suggestion may stand a chance of being successful is with reliability and quality of back up service. I think Nick Hyphen Cornwall would win that one no worries :)

Safe and happy cleaning:)

Hi

I have to agree on this one.... let's say that if there was a personality clash between certain individuals (and it does happen) then this would influence a rating on what could be an excellent product

I have always thought that a table of, let's take, portable extraction units as an example could be set up with all the technical features ticked so that the various differences could be seen at a glance.
You often see this sort of thing in other areas
