Have to be alert at all times. I remember about a year ago after just finishing a car valeting job, was just loading my vehicle back up with the equipment.
The customer had some large trees at the end of his driveway, so in between loading I was unable to keep my eye on vehicle at the same time. As I was walking up driveway to load some more stuff, I could hear another vehicle slowing down to a stop, then as I apeared in front of trees, These two guys in a rusty beaten up old white van were eyeing my stuff up, the driver looked up at me, smiled and drove off.
