Construction of smoking shelters is the key and yes, but sub it out.

Wait until nearer the date and offer a discount, don't forget to sell the benefits and a good idea would be to get some room freshener I got mine from Matt at Cleansmart, spray it in the air it smells of lemons and turn the airmover on.

Hi,

In Glasgow, our initial responce to smoking ban letters (especially in pubs) was poor.  They seemed to be afraid of lost revenue due to people drinking at home.  We got only 1 job from 200 letters intially, but more came a few months later (presumably after they realised that people will still drink in pubs regardless)

Maybe they are less sensitive in England as they have both the Scottish and Irish results.

Food for thought at least

I don't understand these letters, are you trying to convince landlords that if they get the smoke smell out of the carpets they'll miraculously get more customers

how does that work then?

will more people go into the pub because it doesnt smell of smoke, how do the know the pub doesn't smell? do people go in and walk out because they can smell smoke

I think these letters are a waste of time
