« on: February 16, 2006, 07:18:03 pm »
HI Everyone,

Does anybody Know who sells on ebay under the user name: dinovarious  apparently he is a window cleaner based in London. If the name does not ring a bell, please follow this link to an item he was selling.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=4437823182& ;ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

Although he advertisers his phone number, I really need his name and address. Due to legal proceedings I have started, I cannot phone him up.

Many Thanks

Andrew

use the help facility on Ebay...type in "contact details" in search window.
There is a facility where you enter the item number and request the sellers contact info. This is then emailed to you.

Hi Everyone,

No I would not be stupid enough to buy his item. My van is currently listed and the content of my sale made him mad, because I warned people about putting 1000lt containers in their vans, that are un baffled and not securely fitted, plus I stipulated how long it takes a 200gpd RO unit to fill a tank.

So, he has sent me several malicious emails and he has also contacted the current bidder, stipulating he has seen the van and it is a pile of S***e and the whole setup is about £400. When the fact is, he has never been to see the van and due to his emails, I have refused other potential buyers of viewing it!!! Because the last thing I want, is an idiot like that, finding out where my van is, having all the equipment nicked or worse, torched.

I have now been on to the solicitors and I am going to have him for harassment and slander, but I really could do with his address to speed things up.

Many Thanks

Andrew

you should adress this thro ebay, give them the facts and they will deal with the guy and I am sure considering the circumstances would give your solicitor the help needed to pursue this further

not quite the same as throwing your fist into someone but . . . .  ah well

Sorry to here that Andrew.

Hope  your Sale goes well. I do hope you are not turning your back on W/ Cleaning.

What it does highlight and Its Sad that there are cowboys trying to make a quick buck, and putting people in potential death traps.

Its a shame as well. have you seen how many people have looked at that Guys Item for sale on the Free counter. Their is a lot of intrest in Wfp at the momment.

Being a Geordie, (anti-Sunderland) that sums it up.  He's a dirty Macam!

I'd suggest we all start winding this malicious e-bay member up!

Just keep asking daft questions.

'How do you dry the windows?'

'Is it dangerous to birds?'

'Does it give you cancer?'

Hi Everyone,

Great advise so far, I have reported him to ebay and hopefully that will stop him selling to people who are not in the know.

Neil, not turning my back at all on the industry, I am up grading my vans, newer and better ones. Plus, it is full steam ahead for me on the APWC committee, to turn this industry around and maybe, just maybe, idiots and small minded people like him, will no longer be about.

Many Thanks

Andrew
