Dont think you could justify asking 40000 for a 3000 a month round, then again if thats what some are prepared to pay then fair enough.  Mine's somewhere around £1100 so whats that worth then??  Interesting to know who has the biggest round, is £2000 a week possible at non-extortionate prices??

My round is projected this year to hit £48000,00, So £4000 a month, most sell at one and half times monthly turnover. So that means you could buy it for£6,000, yeh right its taken me 21yrs to build and were else can you buy a businness and be making a profit in a month and a half.

Commercial window cleaning rounds sell for 3/4 months turnover
so he should have got at least £9000

I completely agree with Roy. I don't think there's another business in the world where you can be straight into a pretty much guaranteed profit after just a couple of months.

If i ever decided to sell my round i'd  try and get as close to the annual turnover price as possible. But then again, who's selling?? Not about to give up being my own boss and earning a damn good living from it unless i can pay off my mortgage and live happily ever after without having to work another day for the rest of my life, blah blah blah  ;D ;D ;D

There are plenty of people out there willing to part with £30 or £40 thousand for a franchise without any work so why sell a business for a fraction of it's turnover!
I know what I'll be doing come sell up time! 8)

My round can turn over a Grand a week.

£50,000.00 a year.

I would be lucky to get 10 grand for it.

Its worth what someone is willing to pay for it at the end of the day.

Any offers?

Most people i know who sell their rounds tend to sel them for about 2 and a half to 3 times ther monthly income.
Dont argue with a retard, they will just pull you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I can only speak from experience .I have bought 2 rounds in the past

Round 1  turnover £250 month   I paid £500 over 5 instalments

Round 2  """""""    £1400 month  paid  £3000.

I have seen residential rounds on offer for 5 times the monthly take

Also seen commercial rounds up to 10 times monthly take,  Whether they sold at them prices is another matter.

I would pay up to 5 times for good quality commercial work and no more than 2 times for residential.

When a round has a huge turnover say £150,000 then it is an all new ball game as people would look at it as a good income just for managing a round and may pay a premium

Is that £4500 clear profit after he has paid his 7 lads?

I'd hope for about 10 quid.... ;D

No seriously, I'd like at least 4 grand, and I'd throw in my crappy ladder.

hi neil,
no before he pays lads. he clears well over £2000 week and hes got a gardening business as well . think he got 4 lads doing that for him. he very rarely works. 95% residential work, only a bit of commercial. ( easy life for some) its took him 20 years to build his business up to that size though.
