Like this Stuart.

Upload your pics to photobucket.  Under each pic will be an img url.  Copy the whole thing and just paste it in your post where you want the pic to appear.

Dont bother clicking the insert image icon.

The img url in photobucket already has the html script needed.

Hope this helps

Andrew

By the way it helps to have 2 windows open in your browser. One for here and one for photobucket  :)

All of them Chris.

Its a very old house connected to the ruins of an old priory by an atrium.

A very good job actually.. Atrium. 10 windows and a very old but small conservatory for £££s  MANY  :)

Heres the atrium

Heres the conservatory

Only need the one x 25 ltr container now to do the lot.  Its all lovely sheeting glass and the frames on the sashes are nicely painted  :)

Cheers

Andrew

Hi jouk45

Here is the code
Code: [Select]
<-----Click
This is a step by step, it looks complicated but erm...If I can do it  ::) ;D ;) Once you have done it a couple of times its easy and will only take you a few seconds to do.

Here goes  :-\

For this its best to have the forum new or reply message page and the picture source page (Andrews website picture gallery) open at the same time side by side.

Andrews website picture gallery =  http://www.freedomwfp.co.uk/gallery.html

To show an image(sorry if you already know how to do this :-[) you right click on the image, click on properties and copy the url address.

Click on the third picture in the gallery, a new window with a larger picture opens, copy the url address and paste it into the message area.

You get this
Code: [Select]
http://www.freedomwfp.co.uk/images/big3.jpg
Close the large picture.
Now copy the url address of the third picture(small picture) and paste in the message area

You should get this

Code: [Select]
http://www.freedomwfp.co.uk/images/big3.jpg

http://www.freedomwfp.co.uk/images/thumb3.jpg

A couple of lines below this click this button from the tags menue.

You get this
Code: [Select]

Now insert an = like this
Code: [Select]

Copy the large pictures url address(top one) and paste after the =

You should have this
Code: [Select]

Now put your cursor where I have inserted the X
Code: [Select]
X
Click the image button from the tags menue

You should get this
Code: [Select]
[img][/img]
Now copy the url address for the smaller picture.

Place your cursor where the Y is

Code: [Select]

Paste in the smaller pictures url address

It should look like this
Code: [Select]
http://www.freedomwfp.co.uk/images/thumb3.jpg[/img]

I have added the <-----Click bit so that peeps realise what it does :-\

Code: [Select]
<-----Click
<-----Click

Remember to delete the picture url addresses from the top of the page, click preview to make sure it works and that you are happy and 'bobby is yer uncle'.  8) 8) 8) 8)

Please have a go, it really isn't as complex as it looks. ;) you can use any pictures

for example
<----click the pic to see whos waiting round the corner for Andrew :P

Thats Pure Freedom for you ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Mick

Why don't you just click additional options when you post your message and add the pic? ???

Takes 2 seconds. Why mess about with this photobucket thing. ???

Your right it is loads easier ;) However, most forums limit the use of the attachment facility. I think its to do with bandwidth or something ??? The pictures I have shown are already being hosted, the ones via the attachment have to be uploaded from your computer. I only really showed it as an alternative and because sometimes if you want to show several pics, enlargeable thumbnails are better for peeps on dial up.

Not that I am aware of.
