Anyone any experience/knowledge of Bromoco and their cladding restoration?

Seen it in action and was a great result on some faded/oxidised cladding.

Was impressive stuff.

Saw it used on plastisol and painted aluminium yesterday.

Was like watching black magic! The ease and speed it was applied, and the result was phenomenal.

The plastisol panel you can see, is badly faded, and the black painted panel, is the second one up, the 2 below were new panels that had been replaced and looked totally out of place against the heavily oxidised panels. The black panel is perfect by the way, just a reflection in it.

The final result, considering what's underneath was amazing. Dries to a hydrophobic finish also.

10 year guarantee too.

As I understand it, it's a franchise. You pay a retainer and also 10% of each job.

I know Darran knows this product as I have spoken to him about it.

Interestingly, a job allegedly opted for Bromoco over Purple Rhino. Test patches were done, and over a period of time, the Bromoco was deemed to hold a better finish.

The huge difference is in the price of this stuff, I believe, making jobs a lot more expensive.

I'd be interested to hear what others know.

I also believe Tensid have some good products, but again, cost is massive. They will sell to anyone, but at £35 a litre for a restorative product, I'm not surprised!

We did not quote that particular job - where was it?
All I know whenever we have tested against Bromoco our products outlast theirs.
They give a 10 year guarantee IF the clients opts for their regular maintenance plan which involves full regular building clean - same as us :-)

You understand right Darran - but the Latvian happens to be a Bulgarian
Do you speak any other languages or do you just make fun of people who speak more than one?

You wont hear back from them they are not interested in selling to everyone because the market is small and too many would cut prices ;D

No, wasn't that particular job, it was another, unaware where.

I still never heard back!!

Anyway, from what I can see, it's like a thick lacquer, that once it's on, its on, and a great money spinner if you tie in a maintenance contract as well.

Got a few Tensed bits to try out, which look a good solution on paper and from what I have read, just EXTREMELY expensive.

The Tensid stuff is OK - but for longevity you need the Rhino 3 Step process.

We are extremely happy that we keep winning work where Bromoco once ruled supreme!
Tensid are not in the running by a long shot.

We have just appointed a contrator in Exeter - his competition was Bromoco and our products trounced them! The client is extremely satisfied.

We are just looking for only one more ambitious company to join us!
