Help, went outside this morning to turn on the water tap to the water purificaton system, just as normall. as i have run out of pure water.
And the barrel started to fill really fast, and i knew that something was wrong.so i checked i had the correct pipe, and i had. but when i checked with my tdi tester , it came back as the same tdi reading as the tap water in the house, any help please at all thanks

Doug,

Possible problems:- Drain restrictor bust, membrane bust, flush valve open, flush valve bust.

Sorry for the delay in responding, been away for a few days.

Process of elimination.

Least cost first:

Is your flush valve open or closed?

Pull the tube out of the flush valve and see if any water is getting through? If it does replace it.

Remove the drain restrictor and blow through it, it should be difficult, very little air should get though, if it does replace it.

If all the above are OK. Replace the membrane.
