Car valeting
« on: May 27, 2006, 11:20:15 pm »
Hi guys & girls,

Ive been asked to give a quote by a local garage to valet cars for the Fire Brigade. The guy wants three prices, from what i can gather a sort of bronze, silver and gold type package. The final price to include the removal of the stripes/checks you get down the sides of emergency vehicles. One thing i don't need to do is under the bonnet.

This is a new field for me and any help advise will be much appreciated IE equipment/chemicals prices the whole works to be honest.

Thank you in advance.

Regards Rob.

We clean all sorts of vehicles from small cars, plant & machinery to HGVs.

£10.00 per hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We charge £40.00 per hour!!!!!!!!!!!

and thats the standard valet. If you want our executive valet it is £500.00 per day.

Those prices are far too cheap.

My top valet is £79.00 Takes me about 4 hours and costs me around £4- 8    depending on location. This is an add on to my carpet cleaning business, which I advertise when carpet cleaning slows down ...people seem to care about their cars more than their homes!

Use the heat gun VERY GENTLY!

If you overheat the stickers, the vinyl will come off easily, but leave all the glue on the vehicle. Just warmed slightly, most of the glue stays on the vinyl, so you have a lot less to clean off the vehicle.

Just putting the vehicle in the sun on a warm day for a few hours will soften the glue......... but a heat gun is faster. Remember, though, warm, not hot!
