The top 5 sections have been completely re-worked to the 88ft standard.
NWH had a pre production pole.

No i didn`t i had 3 sections that had extra wrap on them,if what your saying is true i was sold a prototype pole which IMO is out of order.

Push the two sections together and start to wrap tape round where they meet so that you build up a few turns of tape which will then act as a "stop"to prevent the top pole compressing down any further over the bottom pole. If your fishing pole doesnt have a butt protector(the emporium does) do the same with the base to allow a small overlap which helps stop the wear form when you put the pole down on the ground. Also adds strength to the base.

Can someone post some photos showing how to adapt a F16 (or other fishing pole) to wfp?

Someone has to be first, I am still using my "first" emporium. I have paid extra to keep it up to date. I thought the extra wrap didnt come out till later ? Maybe I am mixed up a bit when did you buy yours ? what did you do with it ?

Hi all thanks for the reply,,,no not sick and yes i did phone the other supplier..The pole is not ready from the other supplier and i have a very large job to do and needs a pole to do it.
The pole i'm getting has a roller on the back of the brush so that it can roll up the side of the building, and also did think about the fishing pole but did'nt go with that option!
Whilst looking at the DIY site i think i read jeffs review on this pole and am i right in thinking that this pole has had a slight change from the earlyer ones,
Have a look at there site see what you think!

Can you buy the rollers to fit on the brush separately and if so where from please? Similar to the the roller used on the Bentley brush.

Emporium are also fishing suppliers the rolers are derived from "pole rollers " and are I think unique to them. I prefer no roller and  I just hold mine straight up in one hand till I get to 35-45ft then lean the back of the brush against the wall to go higher. But the roller is  of help when going to the limits.

Weight or lack of it. I am now using c/f modular for low level everyday work, ok its not quite as fast to put up (but its faster to take down)as a telescopic but oh boy its a pleasure to use. Light poles, light brushes, light everything.
Mind you I suppose I got used to not using rollers so maybe you will get used to not using anything other than a roller. If you dont like rollers just put any old Bentley flocked brush on instead.
I find it interesting that Matt has made his Vikan cill brush really light as has riahehttrepur (you got to change that name again  ;) its a sxd difficult to to spell backwards)

Hi riahehttrepuR
Do you have one of these poles ??? And if you do ,do you find it just as easy without the roller and think that this roller is not needed.

Matts topic on diy site is http ://d.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=6865 but this forum wont let me post it  :o , so look on page 2 topics to for "I got my vikan down to 275gms" by Matt as far as I know hes the only one to do it with the Vikan. Maybe we should have competittions to see who can shave the most weight off. I drilled holes in mine between the bristles.
Dump the Bentley and lighten the Salmon, but the emporium is sold with Vikans so presumably it will take the weight.

.

( But they have a new shorter No1 section pole to take the weight)
