Does think purify the water to the same as reach and wash ionics?

I have a tds meter Shaun, however the resin has been in it for a few years so needs changing.
Will run a hose thru it for a while and see what reading is.

Have back flushed it, and got a reading of 60ppm with the old resin.
Obviously resin needs changing so would imagine with new resin it would be a lot lower.
Our tap water reading is generally around 275ppm.

I didnt take reading through salt meter, just the resin.

no, it represents a 66% saving on new, not bad for rarely used. Even a Yorkshireman
can see it is a great steal.
