Hi guys im looking for a bit of legal info from anyone thats gone through the following.
I ordered a 30ft carbon pole from a company i had better not mention on the 12th Dec.
The wesite states that delivery is 1 to 2 working days.
After 5 days it still hadnt arrived so i emailed them followed by a phone call,I got no answer from either!!
I then found out the guy who runs the company had finished until the New year
On 2nd Jan I rang and the guy said he couldnt understand what had happened
He then said the courier had returned it to him broken and that he would send another out that day.
This meant I would receive the pole on the 4th or 5th 
Its now 11th and still no pole
Worse still he isnt answering his phone or replying to emails
Iv just been on the wesite and there is a banner saying the website is temporarily disabled
Im getting the sickly feeling that my £309 is never gonna be seen again
My question is have any of you guys been through anything like this and if so what are our legal rights etc.

I haven't had this stuff can't say much, hope you get it sorted.
What was the company so we know what one to avoid

Hey. Sorry about your difficulties. Hopefully you will have paid for it by credit card as they are the ones you can claim off if all else fails. But hope you get it sorted.

Yes I had this last yr,I paid by visa debt card and used the bank to get my money back,which I did   
Keep all txt and emails and log phone calls and what was agreed.all this gets used by the bank to see if reasonable effort has been used.

Sorry guys but as angry as I may be with this so called company Im still not willing to name them on a forum.
They sent me a text this afternoon saying my order has been dispatched and will arrive no later than Monday,this was half hour after I left them a message saying if i dont receive any info from them by 4pm i was starting legal proceedings.
I no longer want the pole and have sent them a reply to the text saying i want confirmation asap that the money is going back into my account(I paid by debit card).
I await a reply.

Doesn't seem like two minutes since "thewaterfedpolecompany" were on here knocking Gardiners & trying to big-up their poles & service!!

They were also less than honest about the pole weights & sizes!

i was thinking about getting a pole from these guys before!! ive got a clx 18 that needs replacing soon (two years of good use) im gunna try the pheonix for this one i think, i have an supermax stipped down to a slx 20 odd for most of my work

Other people might be saying the company, i know what company but anyone that don't know or understand won't know the company,

People could be saying several different ones.

People need to hear it from the horses mouth to be 100% sure!! Not from others.
