what would you pay for a.....
« on: March 10, 2010, 04:24:40 pm »
02 plate short wheel base 300 ex BT transit.

87,000 miles on the clock, good history, fair/good condition (few scabs, and a couple of small dents) still looks bright enough when she's clean. 12 months MOT

DIY System. 1000 litre lay flat tank. held down with 2x 5 tonne draper ratchet straps bolted to 5 tonne eye (lifting) bolts. protectacoate floor, vari stream, pump, 2 reels.

I'm only asking as i don't know wether to chuck just the van in px against my new van and strip out the bits. or sell it as one unit to someone as its still a good enough set up we use everyday.

how much do you think i could sell it for?

Thanks

Hi Steve,

I would be very interested if you decide to sell the whole lot together.

I reckon so mate, I trade motors in my spare time and without the equipment i'd say the van is worth around £1800 if sold privately. Not really sure what the equipment is worth but i'd say you could get £2500 for it from another window cleaner.

Reckon £2500 is a steal if its set up & ready to go.

Steve, if its ready to go to work i reckon nearer the 3k if the history is good, the milage is correct & the full mot. Wont take long at 3k before she paid for herself.

To the right person, probably. I always think as a trader and what it would be worth to me. Ebay is the best bet.
