how should i reply
« on: April 07, 2017, 07:44:53 pm »
I got a load of canvased customers. This one didn't reply to text. I eventually asked if she still wanted the service. She said yes. Told her I was coming tomorrow. Gate was locked. Text her again. Got a bull reply. I eventually got in today. Frames were black. Gave them a good scrub.
Got text back. "well if you've cleaned them I wont be needing your services" Text back saying the other 300 people were happy. She then said I must have been tired by the time I got to hers. Whats my best reply without saying she wanted a cheap 1 off

That's why it's always best to charge a one-off price for what you think is going to be a first clean.
I also find it best practice to visit the property to see what needs doing and speak to the potential face to face. That way you don't get screwed over.

These people have no intension of paying. I wouldn't have the cheek. Most just ignore the texts, the calls and the door knocks.
Ill have to buy a few eggs at Christmas :)

Demanding payment in advance normally sorts those types out.

I would not have cleaned it.

Alarm bells would of been ringing in my head with the messing about with texts and gate...Then the frames were black?

Classic obvious messer that ;D

poor two way communication normally leads to unwanted customer, alarm bells should ring warning signs, especially new customers.

Oh yeah; I've just re-read the first post.
I think she's won with that reply. I recommend a tactical withdrawal. You've lost the moment now. as well. and cheated by asking for help.
