Title: Defoamer
Post by: Tom Lawrence on February 05, 2018, 05:28:25 pm
Not sure if anyone has tried this but I left my bottle of prochem Defoamer on a job previous to my last. Luckily I remember being told a while back that salt does just as good a job. So with a corner shop being next door I went in and bought some plain table salt, guess what it works a treat, 2 tablespoons in the dirty tank and done just as good a job as prochem at £18 a bottle?

Anyone else had any homemade remedies work? I've heard cheap fabric softener, and WD40 also works?

Why are we paying for the big brands when simple household items do the job?

I have never used defoamer, is it that vital? I can’t remember a job where I had really bad foam.

If really bad put a cheap soap bar in the tank.
