-
What one u got? How do you find it?
-
got 18 footer aint used it yet got it tonight it s thinner than my slx
-
I like them, hoping to get 2 at the end of the month.
-
Last pole I had without end stops got wrecked because I extended too far the end section . . . . and it snapped :'(
-
Had a pole without end stops almost 2 yrs now and no probs at all if you buy the biggest pole you can afford it is far easier to remove and add sections as and when needed that is what i do ;D ;D . Mike

No end stops means freedom......
-
is the phoenix pole scottish.....NEVER TAKE OUR FREEDOM! ;D
good grief! ::) ;)
-
??? ??? ???
-
No end stops means freedom......
Referring to the ability to easily add or remove sections due to the lack of positive end stops.... Along with easily removable rubber butt caps.
Facelift gives you the freedom to upgrade a pole without necessarily buying a complete new one...
-
So can you buy the sections separately?.

thats more like it aproper worded sentence...instead of bollox
it will serve you well young man :)

you could make your own end stops with tape, however as facelift said above, freedom, i am at the moment using a supermax 45 taken down to a 30 footish slx pole and i suits me great without the end stops i can add the longer section when i need it (about once every 300 years) when you use the pole everyday you just know where to extended i to i guess. im gunna get one of these 18 footers though for definate my small clx has just about had it i think, but what a good work horse it was, used every day for two years ! it started off red and is nearly black now :-)

So can you buy the sections separately?.
All sections and end caps will be made available individually.
Once you own a Phoenix you can extend it or break it down as you please.
Versatility.

Lets be honest though, the same is with Gardiners- the positive stops on Gardiner poles are just a wrap of tape approx 135mm from the base of each section. This is what stops the section from just sliding out. Remove this tape & the pole then has no stop on it. Gardiner poles also (and almost always have been) are interchangeable, you can remove, add etc sections at will.
There is absolutely NOTHING new here at all, even the old Facelift poles were the same. :-\

I made a statement and answered a question.
I never mentioned the feature was new or compared to another range.

No but you are almost inferring that it's a revolutionary feature!
-
As you said our original range featured this, I was merely reiterating the reason behind the feature as it was mentioned on a previous post on the thread.
I'm a great believer in any pole having the ability to grow with the users requirements.

Good point Mike never really thought of it that way around short term it would save a bigger outlay then when needed extra sections can be bought and added on nice one . Mike

ok i use a clx 27, at full stretch i can get 34ft with it & it does all my regular jobs. i've 1 job that i've got an old ionic 45ft beast for, just 5 windows the rest i can get with the clx. what one pole would i need to buy from you to do these jobs & what would it cost please??????
-
Do poles really need "end stops" to tell you when to stop extending?
-
Do the poles come with brushes?
Does a superlite fit?
Do facelift manufacture a similar product.
Cheers Dave.

Good question. At this stage we can't help as the Phoenix currently tops out at 25ft.
However at some point in the near future you will realistically be able to buy an "everyday" pole (which ever size you deem it to be) and then purchase the relevant section numbers to extend this to your desired height.

Another good question.
The coloured band markers which some poles feature serve as a warning to the user. It reduces over extension, and possible damage, particularly when used by the lesser experience. Once users are comfortable they are free to extend past these markers once they familiarise themselves with the workable limits.

Right now we have some really exciting developments for accessories coming through the pipeline. As the month's pass brushes and gooseneck's will start to appear.
