Another Connection Option ??
« on: October 10, 2009, 03:32:06 pm »
Having purchased one of these, third item down, from gardiners I've found it makes an excellent connection, sturdy and no leaks.....................but it has no autostop feature, so that when the pole hose is disconnected, the water continues to pump out

http://www.gardinerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/Standard_Plastic_End_Stops_etc.html

Is there an alternative brass component with barb but with the endstop feature or is it a matter of adding 1/2" hose to the microbore by jubilee clips and adding a normal hoselock plastic endstop.???.

I know EZ snap are an option, but so far they have either become disconnected after a sharp pull, or seized up :(

Thanks

There is an alternative.  You could try our Pro-Range of fittings.  These end-stops come with barbed fittings (6mm, 8mm, 1/2").
