you will have to replace the complete valve. If its a kingston valve they will cost you about £20+ vat and postage from Ashbys
Cheers

Paul,

Remove the jets and behind you will find a cylindrical device which is a combined filter and anti-drip valve.

Sometimes these can be stripped and cleaned to return to function, but on most occasions require renewal.

John.

PS - If you take them apart, take care not to loose the spring and ball.

I have found it to be false economy changing seal and plunger; it’s cheaper in the long run to change the whole unit.

Chris why ant you at Wimbledon by the way gone up about £24+vat

Paul

Define warranty? By the way you have just validated it by taking apart and replacing bits, don’t tell Alltec this, they may send you a complete replacement.

The only valve thats worth its salt is the HM valve (as used on the RX20 and is also used on all HM tools) IMO.
It lasts forever.
