for what?

We have lots of office programs as you call it, but what do you want it to do?

Do you mean Microsoft Office, .NET, jAVA, Dreamwaever for websites... the list is endless.

Cheers

If they are regular repeating daily cleaning type jobs stick Target Control into Google. Once you have found the site there are links (hard to see) at the bottom of the pages which give you a tour of the software. If it seems too expensive just remember it helps you *control* your biggest cost- labour and would soon pay for itself.

I don't know where your based but Chris McNab the owner is doing a demo on Tyneside next Tuesday 26/1/10

I'm NOT on commission!!

I've been using ServiceCEO since 2003. It was £1,200 back then but it was worth every penny. The problem now is they haven't updated it for more than a year now but it's still unbelievably good for what we need.

I think they have a demo software you can try - www.insightdirect.com

Hi Sergio,

VAT gets changed with a click - easy. I am talking about new functionality. They used to introduce new features twice a year. I read on their forum they've been busy developing browser based system, but no further info was available.

Updates and support are free... if you pay annual membership ;-). So they are not. How much you pay depends on the number of users. I think it is in the region of $250 for a single user.

The best source of info would be them, so get in touch if you are interested.

Good luck!

It can't beat Quickbooks or Sage Line 50 in terms of payroll but it's not an accounting software. It has some payroll features: clock cards, payroll reports, payslips etc but I still use quickbooks.
There is a UK firm that have made an integration between this software and the UK version of QB. I am planning to give them a call and see their solution. There will be a charge involved though.

I still don't see a replacement in the software market in the UK.

Regards,
Nick
