i know you guys say get a honda , can get a deal on this pressure washer + 18in   FSC,   IF YOU COULD CHECK IT OUT AND GIVE ME YOUR honest  VIEWS BEFORE I COMMIT MYSELF  on this i would be gratefull.  the  Commercial italian Annovi reveberri    pump and engine spec seem good,  along with 2 year waranty,   could this be a good start up pack, or should i hold on to save up some more for a GX340 or GX390,   im still looking on ebay ,  but nothing local yet.
EPW275 14AR,       just google model      or   thepowersite.co.uk

Don't like the "built in unloader". Rest would be ok. But unloaders are what give the problems and that one you cannot replace.   I have a good machine in the "equipment for sale section".

The unloaders take a battering..they need to be replaceable .A separate item that bolts on not integrated into the pump head. Here is a bedtime read for you....http://www.epowerwash.com/wp/archives/631

ive just been reading this,     a lot of makes and models have unloaders built in,   ive just checked spec more on other models now,    it must go down to how much you have to spare,  or loose in this case,  the new washers must take some bad ownership for these unloader valves to go on a new washer quickly,    yes your right in being able to change an unloader valve  if damaged in time.
is it a no go changing one built into the pressure washer.       Maybe back to the drawing board,  thanks :'( :'(

You need a machine with an external unloader because the return will flow back to tank where the internal ones just return to the inlet - the water only travels a short distance and heats up very quickly and its this heat that kills the unloader

thepowersite.co.uk    ,   evopower ,    toolshopwales,                 all based in wales
as Chris said ,     if i got this washer  how would i prevent the unloader valve from badaging,     or would it take a lot of use to damage these if built in.
Another concern when buying a pressure washer    Bypass on pumps   for water recirculating    what should i be wanting.
cheers

I was also considering the EPW4000GB     Because of its geardrive pump ,     i could also get this in a package deal cheaper,            or should i just wait and get a honda GX... MODEL.     I DONT WANT TO COMMIT AND REGRET BUY.  theres a lot  talking about outer bypass on pump ,   should i also consider having this as an option.   thanks if replying. ::)roll

I suspect the pump on the EPW4000GB is of Asian persuasion as it does not specify the make or model. It only "implies" it is an industrial model. You can not produce the type of machine you require for less than £1000 new. Then if you have saved a grand you might as well save another £400 and by the real thing.
I have a machine for sale in the classifieds that will get you earning. Not top of the range but i used/tested it all last week and it's ok. It will always be worth £400/500 when you have earned enough money from it to buy the Honda/AR/Interpump/Cat machine that is £1400.

Yes it would be the best option. My machine has a dump valve on the side so it is second best. You could retro fit an return to tank unloader on this for about £60.
Jetmac will build you a machine with either a Loncin engine or a Honda engine but for that sort of price you are getting a chinese pump/and gearbox....They will not tell you this unless you ask!!!!! No disrespect to you but you don't seem to want to take it onboard....  a real machine will cost you £1200/1500 brand new...there is a reason if it is cheaper ;D

the reason i looked at the EPW275 14AR   is because it has a good pump on it, and   was because i could get the washer - 18in FSC for £1058  i thought that would be good enough ,    but speaking to people they rarelly use there FSC on small jobs,    i suppose i can get a decent washer without the FSC   and get one later when saved up again.
I know you have one 4 sale Chris , i would rather buy new so i know history  or a gx honda nearly new.
Chris if you could suggest a few models  to get me started and hopefully have for many a year id be very gratefull.   Once again chris thanks for your  help,    I do listen to all the advice ive had ,  some great advice and help on here.

I've has this one about 5 years. It's served me well. Gearbox went last year and in turn trashed the keyway. Cost a couple of hundred to repair.

Happy to recommend model but no idea on this seller. OK if local to you and some warranty. Also check what else is included as the pump is just a small part of what you'll need.

Thats the problem with the gearbox ones...they get a bit if backlash on the crank/gearbox drive and it wipes the crank out. That will have johnny worried tho' so i wont mention it.
