Hi, I'm about to get a reel hose, which should I go for 6mm or 8mm ? ::)roll
Cheers Hotsteam

Ive always used 6mm just easier to work with, although using 8mm might leave a far better shine on the windows.
-
Yeah far better shine with 6mm the hose is the key eh 😂 if you use 6mm you can let you’re water go up to 100ppm without any problems too lol
-
I moved from 8mm to 6mm about 6 months ago...
With 6mm you can get more hose onto your reel - also I've found that 6mm snags less than 8mm.
-
6mm all the way as the above. Much lighter to use and less snagging. Puts a little more pressure on the pump but nothing to worry about
-
6mm every time 8mm uses to much water and is harder to manage pluss if you deside to use a power up reel you cant use 8mm any way unless u use 50m

6 for me , I couldn’t even imagine having to work with 8 now ,13 year ago I had garden hose , now that was work !
-
Plus using 6mm you can keep reel in van pull out hose and close door fine with hose running from bottom of door.

So are you talking about( inside diameter ID ) or (outside diameter OD) ??? :)

ID Herman
Microbore = 6mm ID, Minibore = 8mm ID and garden hose = 12/13mm or 1/2" ID.

Herman you ain’t gonna get much done if using 6mm OD hose 😂
