RO System?
« on: January 20, 2006, 07:52:56 pm »
Hi All,

Can an RO System be connected up to a tap and used, rather than being plumbed in?

Thanks,
Andy

If you have small microbore pipe you can get an addapter that takes you up to 12mm hozelock standard fittings.

Hi Gaz,

Its because I haven't got anywhere to plumb it into at the moment (not sure where I'm going to store everything yet)... So for now I just wanted to connect it to either an outdoor or indoor tap, if possible?

we've just set our's up in the garage, with no water supply to the garage we hose it in with a few step down pipes like the one mentioned above.

Hi Andy

We always send a connector out that lets you pop the inlet to the RO straight onto a threaded outside tap. Not standard from RO man but we put it in anyway coz most folks want to connect to outside tap.

Let me know if you didnt get it.
