Baffles in a small tank.
« on: January 15, 2006, 03:12:25 pm »
As I have a small van I can only install 2 X 250 Litre upright tanks next to each other, so as to have room left in the back for other things.

Unlike the bigger tanks they DON’T have BAFFLES in them, so can I make and fit some myself the DIY way?   (baffles that is)

If I had 400Lts sloshing around, it might make my van a bit scary to drive.

I have read a post about using soil pipe in a large 1000Lts tank; I’m not sure how OR IF that would work in such small tanks.

So could anyone tell me what I should do?    Thanks.

But i Have a Berlingo Van and wondered if i would notice a differance being a small Van?

could you tell me regarding the 250 Litre upright Tanks.
Where or is there is a hole for a tap?
Or do i just make my own?

There are proper threaded inserts in the side of the tank , you just have to fit elbows in and your away .
One thing though , is the berlingo a 600 or 800 payload ? , if your looking at two 250 L tanks and you only have the 600 you gonna be overweight .
