This is on the inside hallway of a house.
Is it possible to clean in the gap between the glass and the wood at the bottom of this glass partition? The last person let the drips run down and it really shows.
The gap is only about 5mm thick though.
I thought of sewing some ribbon either side of a micro fibre cloth with pure water on and seeing if you could pull it through. Any better ideas would be much appreciated !

Yeah jet wash.

Best not, it’s inside 🤣🤣
My fault though I didn’t mention that

Possibly one of those kitchen steam cleaner gadgets.

Why do people design guff like that? ??? It's about as good as a juliet balcony.
-
I know !! So true
-
That looks awkward to clean properly. Take the glass off , clean thoroughly , re attach glass to balcony.
In future , put clothes down so no water goes down into that bit of glass

Hypo will take care of that mate

Hypo will take care of that mate
Why would you want to use hypo on an inside bit of balustrade ???? There is no algi growth just a bit of dust at worst .

Hypo will take care of that mate
Really?
I do start to worry......

I’ve added that it’s inside in the description now. It does look outside at a glance 😁
-
Has the customer asked you to clean it?
-
He asked if it could be done. He understands if it can’t be done but I hate leaving something if it can be done. 😁

Looks like a lot of faffing about , is he willing to pay your sewing time as well? Iv actually got some polishing clothes that are very thin from an Irish guy called Tadgh , a lot thinner than microfibres. Even if you sew ribbon on either side and polish it (like your polishing shoes) , you’d need to be on either side of the glass at the same time . Unless there’s 2 of you , but then it comes down to cost and whether the customers going to pay for it
-
Take it off lol yeah right oh.
-
Tradman would.
-
Surprised anyone has the time to consider such a farse.
Just say no and onto the next.
-
I clean some inside and out they get cleaned down to the fittings and they understand that,I wouldn’t consider taking them off nor would the customer.
-
im so glad that i refuse all inside window cleaning these days........i havent got a single job where i clean the insides now..... apart from the odd kitchen window for an elderly customer of course but even this is down to 2 or 3 customers out of 350+jobs...... :D

I don’t mind the insides to be honest. I do (on hold at the moment!!) a school and retirement homes with insides and businesses too so I’m used to it.
This isn’t something that has to be done but if it was possible it would be a nice finish.
