hello mate,
just read your posts,
tendering, some people love some people hate it.
if it is a public services tender then it will appear in the old OJEC which you can now access through tendersdirect.co.uk. you can search keywords, to find tenders that might be of interest. you will then have to pay some pennies to see the full tender document.
the next thing that these sorts of tenders are looking for is approved supplier status, this usually involves and questionnaire, spome of them will want to see accounts, h & s and the the standard COSHH data sheets, and assessments, risk assessments, method statements, and insurance certificates.
once on the list, then you will be invite to tender,
with regard to private organisations such as the mcdonalds of the worls, these even now operate on an approved supplier list status. so your first port of call for these people is the pucrchasing or prcurement department.
the other way is to get in with some of the local outlets, then the area managers, and then use the power of influence to get other sites, this may even be more profitable, as local negotatition as opposed to national.
i hope that helps
regards
martin
