Title: How do I remove wax from a stone fireplace
Post by: sturner on August 30, 2004, 04:11:18 pm
Hi

Does anyone know how to remove wax from a stone fire place.  It has dripped over time and when the surplus has been removed left a 'water mark' type stain.

Really appreciate some help.

If the stone has absorbed some of the wax you will need to apply a poultice with a chemical called toulene. If you need to know about a poultice let me know.
