Having worked on Bank Holidays before, no-one has ever objected.  Just tell them you're 'behind' on your round.

I do like to take them off, but if I want to work; I will.

Having worked shift work for the last 10 years and contracted to work most bank holidays, these 2 days off will be one benefit of being my own boss! :D

I think Matt's comment is certainly something to consider.

Same here .

I love bank holidays because i dont have that dilema "shall i ,shant i"
I can just take the day off with out feeling guilty or that i am missing something.
I just see it as it is not a working day , so no problems at all.

i think some factories close all week, but then they get holiday pay just explain to your customer if we dont work we dont get paid.  Most retail outlets are open anyway

I have all bank holidays off.
Unless a large job comes in that pays lots of money (dreaming now)

I always take the wife and kids out over bank holiday weekends.
Work can wait.

That pretty much sums up what I was going to say.
Having bank holidays off is having a weekday off and not feeling like it's cost you anything.

Only trouble with Easter is that it means two short weeks. :-\
To be honest I may do a couple of hours friday morning.
But then that's all I do any friday.... ;D

If its raining and all us window cleaners are off for the day dont we just love it to see others working ;D

so if we were all to go bank holiday monday to work why everone else was off for the day, lets be honest we'd be devastated :P

Technically, Friday is not exactly a National holiday, it is a religious holiday, and by tradition I think the banks are closed.
