I started 2 years ago with an Ionics
Since then I went to a Vikan after reading all stuff on here
Then I used Salmon swivel for a while
I've gone back to Ionics
Ido like the swivel but not the salmon brush, it gets on my nerves.
If I could get Ionics with a swivel that would do.  They do lose their shape a bit but they don't wear down like other cheap stuff
Just my experience

done exactly the same, will not be experimenting any more from now on its ionics for me

i do pull a few bristles out though (ionics) because i use cleantech low pressure fan jets, just my preference for better rinsing
