Another 500 litre tank in a 2004  combo 2000  1.7  here.

As mentioned earlier a 400 upright will just fit, but it is tight, almost to the roof, better off with the 500 tank then you have overhead room to fit pole storage tubes.

Douglas adams had this exact problem, it was a three seater settee, and it had to be gotten up dog leg stairs that were  a smaller dimension that the settee.Incredibly he managed it!

He died, otherwise i'm sure he'd tell you how to get the tank in easy.

I have a 400 upright in my connect van. But I was the idiot when I bought a van without any side doors. Doh!!
Ive managed for last 4 years though with a couple of adjustments.

wats the ajustments yiou have done k the idea is with mine that the side doors in the kangoo is to run the hose from the tank to a old bakpack and connected to a bigger battery and run the hose out of the side window and 1 backpack as a spare and 1 on a trolley for the wife did think of mounting one on a skateboard i found fort a trolley
