which idiot said a 400 upright would fit in a combo!!??
« on: January 11, 2011, 05:34:55 pm »
 >:(

please please could that idiot show this bigger idiot how to make it fit!!

I've even seen photos of one in there, but it's a no-goer with this one. 400 upright with lid on left.

It was supposed to go flush against the bulkhead (as I've seen them) but there is not enough room up top!!!

please help.

before anyone tells me, I know, I need a bigger van. but. I can't afford one.

if you look at top left were blue pipe is thats the top of the tank , i think it has wychwood written on it.

dont go through side door it will not fit ,go through the back doors long ways and as you turn it round it just misses the wheel arches and fits nice up the front.
the year of my van is 2002 .

the 500 is stumpier if you know what I mean.

but i specifically wanted the slimmer 400 so i could still use side door.

I've seen one with a 400 I know I have!

the thing is still in bubble wrap paid 150 for it so match it and it's yours!

North west wales.

I now have 3 tanks, going unused!!

apparently the 400l goes into the combo B (94-01) not the combo C (2001-present),

I've got a 350 in mine, 500l would be overweight when full

If you have the 800kg payload Combo 500l should be OK.

You could always get a tank custom built to your specified dimensions for about £400.

there is only 1 model which is 803kg payload and thats the 1.4 16v 2000, all the others are less than 800kg payload

and dan it says in the manual maximum load height is 1175mm, the 400l upright tank is 1010mm
