Title: Pole storage
Post by: LBWCS on January 14, 2021, 11:01:27 am
What is everyone’s preference for storing poles in the back of your van? I’m having issues with attaching anything to the ply lining

Soil pipe from inside of roof on brackets held with tek screws.
If they are too high, secure a batten of wood first and screw the brackets to that.

4x2” one end across the van do the same the other end you’ll need self tappers so you can go into either ply or the van itself,be careful you don’t go through the van and out the other side lol.
You can then just attach soil pipes by using the the clips you’d use for fixing an outside down pipe,I did mine this way works a treat.

I use standard drain pipe.
To stop ware on the outside of pole I cut the end of a glove, (just bellow thumb).
Pu the wrist end over end of pipe  and push the cut end into it.
Simple and effective.

This is my idea of hell, the one thing that makes work more bearable is organisation and although my set up is DIY that would make me feel so pikey 😖

No all the poles are hoseless I put the shoes on just to stop any dirt or drips of water coming out of the tubes not that there is much , it also stops  you from head butting the sharp ends when getting in the van for bits and bobs .

Love your set up , is that an ionics system that you have added 20 inch ro system to?  Did you do the work yourself?

It’s an ionics pro 5 system with film tech twin ROS  they are 4040 , and a resin vessel rather than the ionics linear di filter , it’s got a Grippatank 800 ltr per hour booster pump and 9kw two man boiler system I dud the filtration myself but grippatank dud the boiler and booster pump , I have two vans with thermopure s n them as well but prefer this set up .

Very nice , mine is a thermopure pro 6 but i removed the filters as I use a static .

Thinking of going back to filters on the van so was thinking twin 4020 ro , already have the booster and the housings .
