I have 2 of their systems they are very economical {about 2pounds a day for 600 litres}. Julie and Carl have always been very helpful over the 8 years that I have had them. Any questions will try to answer .

I have had one of their hot water systems for 6 years. Costs £7 every 2 weeks to refill with LPG.
Fantastic system. They are based near Cardiff.

I like my PF 9kw system.  Once a small teething problem was sorted early on its been a very reliable way to work with hot water

There is a gauge on the tank but as it is under the van it is not visible so I fill up every 2 weeks as I know that will keep me going.
I've had to have a new computer board fitted in 6 years error messages were being displayed and the heater stopped turning on.

I live in Jersey so that's also not an option fo me. It's only gone wrong once in 6 years and a local auto electrics company fitted the new computer board to the heater no problem at all.

I considered a Concept 20 heater but went with Pure Freedom in the end as the Concept 20 didn't have any built in frost protection.  With the PF you haven't got to worry about any frost damage to the unit if it gets cold over night.  With the Concept 20 I was told by Julie you'd have to put a heater in your van if there was a chance of freezing weather when the van/heater isn't in use.

You don't need it you can use the probe and controller from a diesel heater, put the probe inline it'll click on when it drops below 2 degrees.

I've had my Concept HW system about 6 months now. No problems at all and cost is around £2-3 per 500/600L. No gas level indicator visible other than one on lpg tank , i just assume that after roughly 3 or 4 days i'll need a fill otherwise no HW and controller will read the respective code for gas empty. I know 4 other owners in my home town and everyone says they are rock solid.

Frost protection didn't bother me too much as was used to chucking in the oil rad when on the cold system.

Ps. No need to drive to Wales, just get a local engineer to sort it.

NWH, if I remember correctly you used to slate the Concept system because of the cheap looking tanks that seem similar to Wydale and the very expensive price tag. I would agree on that.

To me the only good thing about the system is they seem to have installed a decent, reliable gas heater, but you pay a big premium for it.

Yes I did say it seemed a lot of money for a wyvale tanked system then again any system that uses those tanks seems a lot,I like the thought of  trying a gas system you can have the water at the temp you require,I'm looking for a ball park figure not an exact price.

its basically a tankless on demand gas water heater that you can buy for under £200 attached to a metal frame with a couple of unbaffled plastic wydale type tanks, with a lpg tank under the van,

all yours for what 6?7?8 grand? bargain if you ask me

This is the heater they use. Works just like the ones on eBay for £90. If I were you I would buy a heater off eBay, get a 25kg propane bottle and plumb it in yourself, would easily come to under £200 and if you don't like it you have lost much

I have two concept 2 o systems and they do not use cheap Chinese heaters, their heaters are 240 volts and run off an inverter. They incorporate a fan with flue through the roof.

I have tried to find a guage like you describe. not available I found
#What you can get is a long sticker that stickes vertically on the gas bottle and will depict the gas level in the gas bottle. The gas in the gas bottle is colder and this is what it measures on.
